The visit by Mr. N.J. Ryan, the legendary headmaster who put MCKK at its best achievement ever in the sixties.
MRSM Taiping paid a friendly visit. We won both the Malay and English debate organised in conjuction with the visit.

3rd
MCSU held its first ever ‘A TRIBUTE TO OUR TEACHERS’ slot. A poll was carried out a week earlier to find the top 3 favourite teachers in MC. Those who were honoured are:

Miss Liew Lai Chun
Mr. Purushotanham Panicker
Mr. Noor Zaidi

This was the last day of the term. Collegians flocked the railway station for the first semester break holiday.

12th
The first of Ramadhan.

14th
College reopened for the new term. This was also the first Ramadhan in college for the first formers.

19th
College paid a tribute to Cikgu Munizam, one of the most dedicated teachers MC would have ever had. He was transfered to Sekolah Raja Muda Musa.

24th
The Ramadhan Annual Dinner, jointly organised by MCKK, MCSU and BRU was successfully held. Students from other schools and orphans were also invited. The dinner was followed by a superb lecture by Drs. Tg. Muda Acheh, a free-lance speaker in Hargreaves Hall.
