The Northern Zone Level of Prime Minister Cup Competition was held at SMTSP, Kangar. College came back as the overall winner, by emerging at least as the first runner-up for every section.

The first MCOBA Weekend was held. The name has been changed from the Old Boys Weekend to the MCOBA Weekend. Old boys flocked to college and it was dubbed as the best old boys gatherings ever since many years before.

College was still in the mood of celebrating Hari Raya Puasa. Malay Society organised a ‘Belated Eid Party’.
